ROFLaptop Breaks $500 With 3 Days To Go
Posted by admin on
So far, so good. There's already been a solid amount of activity on the auction. Scott Beale (of chuckling cephalopod fame) and AJ Vaynerchuk (who's just awesome and needs no mascot) both gave the ROFLaptop some love in their respective blogs. Much appreciated, gentlemen. The breadpig would salute you if it weren't for the trotters.

Just in case you didn't believe me about getting the Firefox's signature... Adam from LOLCode generously spread the word about the ROFLaptop. Maybe if this auction is big enough, we can convince OLPC to stop shipping with Windows...
Sneaking A Breadpig Shoutout Into A Totally Unrelated Mental Floss Interview
Posted by admin on
I had the opportunity to do an interview with David of Mental Floss last week and used the opportunity to shamelessly plug breadpig. The traffic bump we've seen as a result verifies the indefatigable appeal of our breaded swine hero. If only this interview had been in person, as hearing someone say "breadpig" for the first time is akin to watching your first child being born -- or so I've been told. More Breadpig Buzz Blooms In The Week Leading Up To Our SF Show

These last few weeks have been incredible for the band. None of us expected all this attention to come so quickly, let alone so strongly. Riding on the vapor trail of the soaring breadpig, here's some love from a recent Podbop review. Be sure to bookmark breadpig's artist page on HypeMachine, a lot of people say you're not truly an artist until you're on HypeMachine. We think HypeMachine wasn't truly a music...
Digg Diggs Breadpig -- Mostly
Posted by admin on
Well, enough diggers dugg it to the front page a couple days ago. There were some really choice comments from the digg community: I so would have put money in their box. Check out the band's website: http://breadpig.com. Their Rick Astley cover is TREMENDOUS! no one else is going to say it but i will ... these guys have a sort of funny idea but after about 10 seconds it becomes probably THE stupidest waste of time I have ever seen. a whole site dedicated to making random noise with garage band? cmon ... just get a fucking life you...
