Breadpig Blog: Purveyor & Publisher of All Things Geek — rocking out

The band went through a tumultuous year of ups and downs. Critics will debate this for years to come, but we believe our zenith was somewhere around our appearance on SpikeTV. We followed that studio performance with some shows in the city -- back with the people, our fans. Just a month earlier, the band had broken up. But there we were, back in top form, rocking out. Mike will have a big upload to his Flickr account when he gets back from some well-earned R&R in Egypt, but for now, you'll have to settle for this single still -- perhaps the best group live shot of the band yet. Adam did a really great (albeit thankless) job as security for this tour. We know New York can get out of control. Not only did the breadpig band do that SpikeTV television special, we also had some live gigs throughout New York City. You may not be able to rock inside the New York Central Library, but we certainly did so right in front. Between those iconic lions, breadpig put on a show the city of New York isn't soon to forget. Our surprise front man got more feedback and fanmail than any of us. But that's cool. We're not jealous. In fact, I've compiled the highlights of his performance that didn't make beadpig's first live video. I think you'll find them both compelling and inspiring, with a touch of endearing. I'm not sure how we'll be able to inform him once he gets accepted for the next season of Idol, but he'll probably already know from all the press attention.
