Breadpig Band Takes New York, The Photo Collection
Posted by admin on
The band went through a tumultuous year of ups and downs. Critics will debate this for years to come, but we believe our zenith was somewhere around our appearance on SpikeTV. We followed that studio performance with some shows in the city -- back with the people, our fans. Just a month earlier, the band had broken up. But there we were, back in top form, rocking out. And here are the pictures to prove it, taken by our band manager/PR guru and photographer, Mike Scrivener. View the entire collection. Video to come.
Fact: Breadpig Loves Democracy And Is Armed To Defend It

Imagine waiting in line on November 4th, standing behind someone with a shirt reading "When the world needed a hero, it got a pig with bread wings." After asking for his/her autograph, you'd probably feel a delightful tingling sensation course through your body. That's the breadpig effect. BTW, wore my breadpig shirt to vote today. It's how I felt just reading that one breadpig loyalist proudly displayed his breaded swine pride. There were zero reports of voters turned away because of breadpig schwag -- coincidence? Breadpig Photographed Rocking Out

Mike will have a big upload to his Flickr account when he gets back from some well-earned R&R in Egypt, but for now, you'll have to settle for this single still -- perhaps the best group live shot of the band yet. (click on image for tasty hi-res goodness) N'Gai Croal, proud ally of breadpig, snapped some pictures of us at SpikeTV. We spent almost as much time tuning and setting up as we did rocking out. But...

If only there were a great place to upload and vote on these LOLmasterpieces... Oh, and a few folks have asked for a complete word list -- here you go. At 384 words, LOLmagnetz owners are armed with a very broad lexicon of LOL.

I didn't expect this interview, but Julia is busy launching her life-casting startup, NonSociety -- I should have known everything is fair game. We'd met for coffee to catch up, but I also had to ask the new Wired cover girl about all the scorn that's been heaped on her. Yes, she's handling it well. Oh, and I happen to be wearing the breadpig Dreaming of Androids shirt. Bonus exposure!
