Another check for the XKCD school!
Posted by chrysaora on
We're happy to report that our friends at the Midlothian Friends Meeting have raised a total of $1187.85 for the XKCD school in Laos! Part of this came from the pancake breakfast organized by the younger Friends, but the bulk came from sales at the Thrifty Quaker, their thrift store on the outskirts of Richmond. The money will go towards sustaining the library, staff training for the librarians, and purchasing new books. We're so grateful that the Midlothian Friends chose the XKCD school as their charity of the month. Keep up the great work!
