A New YC-Stalking Site Emerges
Posted by admin on
Yes, from the same pig that brought you YCstartups.com, here's YCfounders.com. Easily jump between the two using the hulking button on the right column. Whereas YCstartups was a collection of dev blog feeds from YC startups, YCfounders is a collection of the founders' personal blog feeds. If you're reading this and you're a YC founder who wants his/her blog included, email me @breadpig.com And if this wasn't enough Y Combinator for you, I'm leading a panel @ SXSW called Inside Y Combinator - The YC Startups Speak -- if it gets selected, that is. Your 5 stars would be much...
Announcing YCstartups.com - Perfect for Stalking All the Y Combinator Startups
Posted by admin on
OK, this has been online for a little while now, but I never did get around to mentioning it. Rumor has it, there are over 100 Y Combinator startups -- far too many for any mortal (other than breadpig) to keep track of. Enter YCstartups.com, which may look a lot like it's built on reddit, but is actually a Slinkset site. It's populated with all the RSS feeds from every YC dev blog I could track down. Happy stalking!
Breadpig's Debut Album Now Available On iTunes! (And PopCuts!)
Posted by admin on
Our friends at UFO Music used their music industry savviness to push our album When Will Then Be Now? onto iTunes. Don't believe me? See it for yourself. It will be spreading to the other digital music services in the coming months like butter on toast, but one other service believed that our unique sound be available for download before Apple. They're called PopCuts, and the best part is that by buying a song early, you stand to profit from its future sales. Breadpig is available for download there and we've maxed out the amount you as an early adopter...
Breadpig Album "When Will Then Be Now?" Slated For Imminent iTunes Debut
Posted by admin on
Our sources tell us that it shouldn't be much longer before our debut album is for sale on iTunes. I wish it were all good news, but the breadpig band broke up last week. Jon and Brian didn't like the artistic direction the band was going in. Basically, we got too big, too fast. They felt like we'd sold out -- that we weren't true to our music. It's simply not true, but I'm doing what I can as a now solo bassist to keep this band, and our dreams, alive. Breadpig loyalists, I trust you'll stick with us through...
FeedbackFail - The Newest Member In The Breadpig Family
Posted by admin on
Feedback Fail is already being hailed as "the new Google" by some. Others are just surprised at how crazy some people are. We've already gotten some link-love from fellow Tumblrs like Aaron Blazey and apparently Jason Calacanis even twittered about it. And Jason doesn't just twitter about anything... OK, that's not true, but it's still nice to see our little flaming envelope getting some attention. If you've got feedback failures of your own, by all means send them.
