Breadpig Visits SF SPCA, Eats Breadpigs, Spreads LOLmagnetz
Posted by admin on
What better way to celebrate a successful partnership than to eat cupcakes shaped like swine? (See, they're made of bread-ish cupcake matter and hence 'breadpigs'). The SF SPCA graciously invited breadpig over for a lunch and a tour. It turns out their headquarters is a short walk from the PigPen (our new BatCave-esque name for breadpig's HQ). After a few great months of project LOLmagnetz (all the profits are going to the SF SPCA) it was time to play with some puppies and snuggle with kittens. It wasn't all business, though. We toured their stunning new animal care facility, which...
Attention All Cylons: Breadpig Has A New Ally Against You - The Electronic Frontier Foundation

As is the case with all breadpig projects, all the profits go to a worthy charity. Ideally, the breadpig can find a non-profit with objectives related to the project (e.g., LOLmagnetz profits going to the SF SPCA). About a month ago, we launched a new shirt: Spoiler Alert. An easy way to support this organization (if you happen to find yourself in Phnom Penh) is simply by patronizing their restaurant, which is run by former street youths and serves tasty tapas. Once you've got...

Not bad for a $200 laptop covered in marker, eh? Update: We originally had a link to the eBay listing here, but it expired after 90days, so we took the link down. It will always be in our thoughts. Thanks again to all of you who helped with your signatures and support.
ROFLaptop Breaks $500 With 3 Days To Go

So far, so good. There's already been a solid amount of activity on the auction. Scott Beale (of chuckling cephalopod fame) and AJ Vaynerchuk (who's just awesome and needs no mascot) both gave the ROFLaptop some love in their respective blogs. Much appreciated, gentlemen. The breadpig would salute you if it weren't for the trotters.
